Safety Guidelines and Rules
At Victory Paintball, safety is our number one priority. Adherence to the guidelines and rules below will make for a great day of paintballing…for you and everyone else!
For each rule violation you will receive a mark on your wristband. If you get three you are deemed unsafe to play and you will be asked to leave for the day. No exceptions. No refunds. These rules are for your safety. Please pay attention and always listen to your referee.
- Age: You must be 10 years of age or older to play at Victory Paintball.
- Waivers: You must sign a waiver form to play. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver form as well. No exceptions.
- Barrel covers/plugs: These should be on your marker at all times. Only exceptions are when you are on a paintball field with your goggles on AND you are instructed by a referee to take it off to play. When you are eliminated from a game the first thing you should do is put your barrel cover on.
- Goggles: This is the most important rule. You should have your goggles on at any time you are on a paintball field. You may only remove your goggles when you completely off the playing field, safely behind the netting. If you remove your googles during a game, the game will be stopped immediately and the entire group will have to sit down and listen to the safety speech again and you will receive two marks on your wristband. Do it again and you are done playing for the day.
- Overshooting: Do not shoot someone more than three times.
- Cheating: Cheating takes away the fun for everyone and will not be tolerated. You'll be asked to leave the current game and you will receive a mark on your wristband.
- Blind Firing: You must be looking at what you are shooting at. For example: Do not stick your gun around the corner of an obstacle without looking and start firing.
- Swearing: Please watch your mouth. Never direct a negative comment towards another player. We're all here to have fun.
- Arguing/Physical Contact: This will NOT be tolerated. Do not argue with other players, the referee’s, or in any way try to instigate a fight. Absolutely no physical contact of any kind is allowed. YOU WILL BE EJECTED FROM THE FACILITY IMMEDIATELY AND THE AUTHORITIES CONTACTED!
- Out Players: Out players are not allowed to talk to their teammates. You cannot help your team once you have been eliminated
- Wristband: If you do not have a wristband you will be escorted to the lobby where you will have to purchase one or you will be asked to leave.
- Bunkers: There is no moving of any field objects/bunkers during the game.
- Chrono Speed: 280 fps maximum. You must chrono any non-rental guns with a referee before playing.
- Co2 Tanks: Do not remove Co2 tanks from rental guns. Ask a referee if you need more Co2. He/she will put a new one on for you. Anyone with their own equipment, please be careful when unscrewing Co2 or Compressed Air tanks. Check to make sure the tank is unscrewing from the gun and not the tank head.
- Out shot: You are out when you are hit by a paintball and it breaks on you or your equipment(marker, mask, pods, etc…) Be sure to check and see if the paintball broke. Sometimes they bounce. If you can’t see it ask someone next to you or yell "Paintcheck!" and a ref will come assist you. If you yell "Hit!" or "Out!", you are out whether it broke or not, so be sure to check first. If a paintball breaks on something in front of you and just splatters on you, you are not out. It must hit you or your equipment and break on you.
- Markers: Be sure to keep your marker upright when you are shooting. They do not feed sideways or upside down. If you pull the trigger and nothing happens check the bolt on the side, make sure it is pulled back. If that is not the problem, check and make sure the safety is in the fire position. If that doesn’t work, call for a ref.
- Eliminated: When you are eliminated, yell either "Hit!" or "Out!". Put your hand in the air and wait a second before you show yourself. This gives your opponents time to see that you are out. Once you’ve established that you are out, immediately put your barrel cover on and walk to the designated dead zone. KEEP YOUR GOGGLES ON! If you can not see, ask for ref to assist you. DO NOT shoot people with their barrel covers on!
- Surrender Rule: If you come up behind someone within 15 feet and say "surrender," then that person is eliminated. They do not have a choice (this eliminates the back and neck shots). If you run up from the front or the side and yell "surrender" it is up to the person you are asking if they want to surrender or not. They do not have to surrender in that situation. It only applies when the person doesn’t know you are there and you are behind them.
- The referees are here to help you and to make your day enjoyable. If you need a paint check, have a gun problem, or anything that requires a referee, yell "Referee!" or your referee’s name. He/she will come to you. If you get up and walk to them they will help you but you will be out for the game.
- Absolutely no climbing onto the top of barricades is permitted.
- SEMI-AUTO MODE ONLY! No Full Auto, Turbos, Ramps, or Multi-round bursts allowed. One shot per trigger pull only.
